Job Description:
The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law seeks a Director for its growing Sports Law & Business (SLB) Program. Founded in 2014, SLB has expanded over the past several years to include a master’s degree (MSLB), a Juris Doctor (JD) concentration in Sports Law & Business, a concurrent JD-MSLB degree, and a hybrid online/on-ground Veteran’s Sports Law & Business (VSLB) program. ASU Law’s Master of Legal Studies (MLS) and LLM students are also able to concentrate in Sports Law & Business. The SLB Program works closely with ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business, the University’s athletics department (Sun Devil Athletics), and the Global Sport Institute (GSI). The successful candidate will take responsibility of supervising and running the day-to-day functions of the SLB Program to ensure its continued success and future growth.

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $95,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for and have duties in the following areas:
• In collaboration with the Executive Director, plan and implement strategies to manage and develop the SLB Program
• Curriculum development, oversight, and course scheduling
• Teach one course (or co-teach two courses) per semester as part of the job’s requirements
• Academic and career advising for all students, including approving and supervising internships, applied projects, and independent studies
• Provide leadership, supervise, mentor and evaluate staff and student employees
• Take a lead role in the admissions process for MSLB and VSLB applicants
• Travel to, represent, and participate in various sports law and sports business industry events
• Create a budget plan and monitor all expenditures and financial reports
• Collaborate with ASU Law’s Office of Development, the Alumni Relations office, and the Executive Director on alumni relation/engagement efforts
• Perform other duties, as assigned, to support the goals of the SLB Program and/or the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law

Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate.

Desired Qualifications:
 3+ years of sports law and/or sports industry experience;
 Experience working with students and young professionals;
 Experience working with internship and/or job placement;
 Experience teaching in a higher education setting;
 Experience working in an Admissions environment and utilizing ACES or Salesforce preferred
 Experience building and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships;
 Experience working with diverse constituencies;
 Evidence of organizational skills and project management;
 Evidence of team leadership skills; and
 Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication.

Working Environment:
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse. Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions. Use standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor and mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology.

Director of Digital Marketing

This position is responsible for creating strategic digital marketing programs as well as managing and leading a team of digital marketing experts to help clients sell more tickets through a variety of programmatic marketing efforts. This position will also manage digital marketing partnerships including Google, Facebook and others to help create industry innovations for digital that will impact the Paciolan community. •Provide strategic planning, support and recommendations to grow digital marketing strategies to help our clients sell more tickets.
