Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 - 10 years of experience working with publisher-side ad serving systems, deploying & operating ad tech systems, preferably with video.
  • Proven experience in development and advanced usage in video advertising technologies focused on live event streaming and on-demand video content across web, mobile, and connected TV platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Google DFP and FreeWheel (MRM) ad decisioning capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of HTTP Linear Streaming (HLS) concepts and Dynamic Ad Insertion implementations
  • Debugging and HTML proxy tools including Charles, Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools
  • Demonstrable knowledge of VAST, VPAID, programmatic video, and client side & server-side ad insertion
  • IAB Digital Ad Operations Certification a plus.


  • Implement and maintain video advertising technology systems, acting as primary technical integration and operational lead working between vendors and internal TOUR stakeholders, which includes ad product, digital product, web development, and content.
  • Maintain the specifications and standards of cross-platform video ad products, including documenting best practices and maintaining the online media kit.
  • Communicate and disseminate video product offerings within the Digital Revenue Operations and Sales teams, which presently include desktop, mobile apps, and connected TV platforms (AppleTV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, etc.)
  • Assist the ad product team to continually evaluate the performance of video product offerings, to improve or depreciate products as needed.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of new video advertising products, helping to evolve our video product strategy and roadmap. 
  • Participate in Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) committees and working groups to learn and contribute to industry best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest in ad trafficking and media industry trends related to live sports programming, dynamic ad insertion (DAI), over-the-top (OTT) video offerings, and video technology capabilities.
