Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • 7 – 10+ years managing a content development team in a digital environment
  • Extensive experience in content development and original content production
  • Track record of developing innovative, original content concepts and executing from ideation to completion to commercialization
  • Strong network of producers, talent, and third-party production companies
  • Experience in, or strong knowledge of, the sport of golf and its unique challenges/opportunities vs. other sports and audiences
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape and success in cost effectively driving audience growth across social/digital platforms
  • Understanding of branded content and distributed content business models
  • Relentless commitment to content quality and originality
  • Excellent written and oral communication; able to write and present to diverse audiences
  • Executive and team leadership skills with the ability to balance creative thinking with strong attention to detail
  • Experience running annual production budgets, specifically nimble teams to maximize production ROI
  • Able to apply sound judgment to make decisions in overall strategy and business cycle


  • Develop business and content strategy which will ensure successful growth of both audience and revenue, leveraging social platforms and existing/future distribution relationships
  • Manage the content production team and own responsibility for Skratch’s content strategy across all platforms
  • Drive new distribution models and opportunities based on evolving content formats and current partnership structures
  • Oversee the Skratch brand, editorial tone/voice, and drive content innovation based on competitive differentiation vs. other golf media properties
  • Measurement and tracking of business and audience KPIs reported to management
  • Cultivate a creative “why not?” culture in which consistent innovation and progress are expected
  • Accountability for existing business goals, revenue growth, and diversification of revenue streams
  • Attract, retain and develop world-class creative talent
