Qualified candidates will have the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sports Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Sports Marketing, Business, Management, Sports Management, or other related area
  • Experience in the design and/or creation of sponsorship/executive presentations
  • Proficient with  Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Experience in Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Attention to detail and client service skills required


  • Serve as part of two-person Tournament Business and Sponsor Relations team responsible for long-term and short-term success of approximately half of the Web.com Tour events
  • Work with department Directors to assist with new tournament development and existing sponsor renewal, including but not limited to the title sponsor relationships and support of Tournament participation in the PGA TOUR Sales Support Program
  • Work directly with Web.com Tour Leadership on tournament and sponsor benchmarking, Web.com Tour financial tracking, new market development and other various department initiatives
  • Communicate daily with Tournaments; Track and record successful strategies between Tournaments for use across other markets while understanding various Tournament and sponsor objectives
  • Proactively develop strong and positive relationships with portfolio of Tournaments and sponsors to drive revenue growth and market penetration year over year
  • Participate in and track progress on all tournament business calls including advance calls, monthly sales calls, messaging calls, and other tournament updates, document opportunities for future consideration and assist with necessary material for follow-up communication
  • Design and create PowerPoint presentations including Title Sponsor and Tournament recaps as well as high level sponsor decks and proposals
  • Provide assistance with Host Organization, Facility and Title Sponsor legal agreements and monitor contractual elements to ensure they are fully executed by TOUR and Partners
  • Develop and manage a consistent process for keeping various Tournament Business document drives (i.e. operations manual, financial tracking) up-to-date following operational and policy refinement
  • Perform internet-based market research to identify potential business opportunities that exist within the local tournament markets
  • Research developing trends in the sports business (sponsorship sales, cross promotion, social media integration, etc.) by reading various industry publications, articles, etc. for inclusion in regular Tournament communication and the future opportunities section of the post-tournament reports
  • Organize and lead Annual Tournament Meeting planning, development, and communication from start to finish
  • Special departmental projects or other duties as assigned by Web.com Tour leadership
