Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Minimum 5+ years of agency, client service, sponsorship sales, marketing and/or media experience
  • Strong background in media, new media or sports industry
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of media measurement programs
  • Graphic Design skills a plus
  • Managerial experience a plus
  • Ability to understand and interpret client objectives and create solutions-based programs to solve for them
  • Strong understanding of the PGA TOUR partnership model (Title, OMP, CMP, Tournament and Media)
  • Strong knowledge of emerging consumer media (digital, mobile, social and interactive media), market and consumer research and brand marketing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

 Responsibilities: 

  • Manage platform development and effectively collaborate with sales executive and sales support
  • Ideate comprehensive scalable platforms for prospective partners
  • Be fully versed in industry leading marketing programs and how these ideas, activations and success can be relevant for the PGA TOUR and its partners
  • Understand TOUR assets as well as emerging TOUR technologies that can be leveraged for partners
  • Be an expert in PGA TOUR partnership landscape
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external constituents to develop and vet programs that are credible and approved for sales
  • Communicate solutions, strategies and tactics internally and externally over the phone and in person
  • Have confidence and conviction to think outside of the box and push the envelope to create new inventory and products
  • Be able to think brand, categorically and industry-wide when developing programs that drive revenue
  • Manage process, workflow and timelines
  • Contribute to department operations including asset management, internal communication and rate integrity
  • Build trust and rapport with sales and key stakeholders
  • Sell through ideas to internal and external constituents
  • Take initiative, have flexibility and be resourceful
  • Execute efficiently and effectively within condensed timelines
  • Build programs with value by collaborating with key team members on the research, graphic design and account management teams.
  • Dig-in to current products, partner practices and learnings
  • Think creatively to enhance current programs with innovative products and assets
  • Effectively apply TOUR resources, learnings, successes and failures to existing products
  • Fully understand TOUR revenue model and develop programs that maximize value
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders who developed and/or own these products
  • Drive value and maximize revenue across existing products
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships across the organization
  • Understand happenings and key business updates in golf and the PGA TOUR
  • Manage workflow, timelines and hold team accountable to standard operating procedures (S.O.P.)
  • Must be inclusive, collaborative and “easy to do business with”
  • Be fully versed in financial models of key departments to ensure properly priced assets
  • Be a product expert and support program architecture
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Operations and Account Management teams to advance products and deals through approval funnel
