Qualified candidates will have the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
  • Minimum Seven years of experience in production; Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production and all phases of post-production
  • Experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming
  • Ability to shoot and edit is preferred; Sports production background preferred, experience with the game of golf preferred
  • Hands-on experience in the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material
  • Experience with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: non-linear video editing (Avid), nonlinear audio editing (ProTools) and computer graphics (PhotoShop, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with advancing and emerging technologies and techniques, as well as all facets of social media


  • Produce features, shows and/or projects by utilizing research, writing and editing skills. Produce and direct field shoots; conduct interviews and obtain necessary footage to incorporate into assigned project.
  • Responsible for overseeing the creative execution of specific assigned shows or projects by setting feature ideas, rundowns, writing and reviewing scripts and directing staff during field shoots.
  • Work with Directors of Production and Senior Producers in assembling production teams for shows or projects.
  • Manage production teams in the daily planning and execution of all assigned programs and/or projects. Supervise personnel and their work on the assigned projects.
  • Assist in overseeing the editorial content of assigned projects to ensure that the quality of all projects is at the highest level.
  • Coordinate with Director of Production in setting shooting and edit schedules; administer personnel assignments in regard to those schedules.
  • Produce the final on-line edit of assigned shows or projects.
  • Work with talent on voice over session and on-camera material.
  • Manage team, and its work, on a daily basis; work with supervisors to maintain budgets.
  • Develop lines of communication and relationships with various PGA TOUR departments to ensure efficient execution of projects.
  • Execute programming as appropriate that reflects the PGA TOUR's overall messaging.
  • Conduct periodic employee performance feedback sessions with assigned production teams to encourage development.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
