Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, Media or related degree/experience required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Media or a Broadcast environment required
  • Experience working with a video archive
  • Background in golf preferred, strong interest in golf required
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proficiency in technical concepts related to media logging and metadata
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals across multiple departments
  • Ability to multitask on various projects at the same time
  • Able to effectively motivate and supervise employees in a digital broadcast environment

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day duties of the logging team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, etc
  • Maintain regular communication with Media Asset Manager to discuss the status of all logging assignments
  • Log incoming footage
  • Maintain maximum level of accuracy and detail as outlined in logging procedures documentation
  • Work with external vendors for all transcription-based services
  • Conduct training for logging staff
  • Provide technical support and design concepts for MAM logging system
  • Maintain and assure successful tracking of completed logging tasks and pull monthly reports as required
  • Regular attendance, initiative, dependability and promptness – may be required to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Assist in other areas as needed
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
