Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field
  • 4+ years project management experience with exposure to various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience leading data analytics, data warehousing, or large-scale reporting projects
  • Ability to define project schedule, scope and quality objectives
  • Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with at least one project management software system (e.g. JIRA)
  • Must be adept in working with both external clients and internal team members
  • Experience preparing project execution plans and identifying appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team
  • Current on advances in the field of cloud and analytics technologies
  • Creative problem solver able to think laterally to develop technical solutions to complex problems

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical and project management aspects of data management, data analytics, data warehousing, and enterprise reporting projects
  • Work collaboratively across Technology Solutions infrastructure, business domains, and external service providers for the configuration, design, and deployment of data systems and programs
  • Coordinate and track all elements of project life cycle, including initiation, requirements gathering, design, solution setup, configuration, testing, change management, and deployment of data program related projects
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
