QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Business, Sports Management, Communications, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Three years related experience required. Experience in a sports-related business environment preferred
  • Extensive travel required; teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness; ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects; ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals; excellent communication skills

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Perform data collection of ShotLink data in real-time, verifying accuracy, troubleshooting errors and resolving issues in a timely manner; including validating data from camera systems, lasers, and walking scorers/volunteers
  • Ensure each camera is calibrated correctly and data coming in is accurate
  • Answer questions from tournament officials, volunteers, media and TV partners related to data and statistics
  • Manage the set-up and maintenance of the laser and scoring equipment. Communicate to the SEP Specialist problems and/or issues with lasers and assist with troubleshooting
  • Communicate issues with volunteers to Tournament Coordinators
  • Assist with tournament administration including the distribution of all groupings information, prize money payouts, scores and statistics, pace of play, FedEx Cup Points and other information
  • Monitor and validate data presented on the Tournament Tracker application
  • Assist with end of round reports, groupings, etc., for tournament officials and publish all end-round and final reports to Tournament Tracker for Media
  • Assist with the set-up and operation of the Trackman system
  • Assist Managing Producer ShotLink and Sr Producer ShotLink with software issues, documentation of issues to IS, and post-tournament reports
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
