The Premiums Partnership Manager will work with the Vice President of Marketing to develop, implement and execute customer premium marketing promotions with companies that are interested in connecting their brand through Panini collectables (trading cards/stickers, etc.) and licenses in sports and entertainment (NFL, NBA, FIFA, Collegiate, NASCAR, Disney) as part of promotional giveaways, stadium giveaways, retail marketing promotions and loyalty programs. The Premiums Partnership Manager will also work with the Panini Group’s Premium Services Division on North American initiatives. The ideal candidate would have a consumer product (CPG) marketing/promotional sales experience or come from a premiums marketing agency.

In addition, the Premiums Partnership Manager will generate and qualify leads, develop pitch presentations, and coordinate with other departments to ensure we source and hit manufacturing timelines to ensure on-time delivery to partners.

Ability to work with client partners and league licensors, as well as internal and external resources to execute premium marketing/promotions initiatives. Be a key contributor to the Panini Marketing Team working to support key Panini events and initiatives including around marquee sporting events, trade shows and corporate events. Demonstrated leadership, innovative initiatives and understanding of production timelines are keys to success in this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads.
  • Prepare marketing premium promotions plans and strategies.
  • Attend Premium sales and promotions conferences to exhibit and create premium partnerships.
  • Create/Develop and present premium presentations to current and potential clients.
  • Negotiate with clients; prepare sales contracts.
  • Lead premium execution.
  • Project Management; maintain deadlines.
  • Work across multiple departments (marketing, premiums, product development, production).
  • Client-facing ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain partner relationships.
  • Perform quality-control checks to ensure product is delivered to expectation.
  • Identify new categories and emerging promotional premiums.
  • Travel for partner pitches, meetings and activations.
  • Develop post-premium recap/analysis demonstrating reach, ROI, etc.

Education &/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required. Marketing/Advertising or Communications major is strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 Years Premium Promotions/Marketing Experience preferred at an agency or at a CPG company.
  • Demonstrated Business Development Success.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Experience working with sports, entertainment or consumer products.
